What a wonderful day celebrating the history and heritage of our community!
On Saturday, August 29, Marion IOOF Cemetery welcomed visitors for the Legacy of Labor Walking Tour, hosted by the Grant County Historical Society.
Guests enjoyed a journey through history, discovering the remarkable stories of hardworking individuals whose dedication, contributions, and accomplishments helped shape Marion and Grant County. Through historical storytelling, costumed interpreters, and visits to significant gravesites, attendees were given a unique opportunity to connect with the people and stories of our past.
From community leaders and public servants to individuals whose work left a lasting mark on our community, the tour served as a meaningful reminder that history lives all around us.
